Y., July 28, 1943. Mr. Georges E. Seligmann, 5 East 57th Street, New York, N. Y. Dear Mr. Seligmann: Mr. Jackling has referred to us your letter to him of June 30th for reply. At the present time he is engaged in war work for the British Government and we are handling all matters pertaining to the Cook pictures which are located in this country. Our information from England is that the Trustees of the Cook Collection are not at the present time interested in selling any of the paintings now located in this country for safekeeping. If this situation should change we should be very glad to get in touch with you. Very truly yours, [[signature - Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle]]
