Mr. Seligman's visit was a great pleasure, and we are now in correspondence about some of the pictures, though I am afraid that they are not of a very exciting nature; for, as I told you, we are not wanting to part with any of the great pictures still in the collection.  Still, I hope that we may be able to arrive at an understanding about some of those which he noted while he was here.  All my thanks.
