Dear Jerry:

Just received your note of Saturday, and am sending for a catalogue from Parke-Bernet, which I will mail to you at once.

You will be indeed impressed with its contents, and may feel like spurring Mrs. Hyde, as with the hazards of auctions and present day general conditions, some of these very exceptional paintings may sell way below their merit.

Should you talk to Mrs. Hyde, please tell her that I would be only too pleased to carry out any bidding she may have in mind.

With kindest thoughts from Ethlyne and myself,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)
