Dear Mr. Speelman:

These are just a few lines to inquire whether you could now set a definite date for the shipment to me of the painting by Terbruggen I purchased from you a few weeks ago.

You thought you would be in a position to air ship it by the end of this month, and the New York season being so very short, I am of course anxious to have it at your earliest convenience.

May I also remind you of your kind promise to indicate on your invoice every available data and documentation you may have in connection with the painting.
