Gentlemen:
Mr. Germain Seligman has requested me t write to advise you that the painting by Terbruggen has not yet been delivered to us. This to explain the delay in sending you our check.
However, we are advised that the case landed at the Idlewild Airport and we therefore hope it will reach us momentarily, This truly exceptional delay probably has been caused by last week's two holidays.
