George Eastman, Esq.,
Rochester, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Eastman:

AS we are shorting moving from these premises, and as there are one or two large pieces here which we probably will not be able to place in our new Galleries, and which we would prefer not to take the risk of shipping back to Paris, we are prepared to offer these things at a very considerable reduction in price.

Among these items is a pair of very fine Eighteenth Century stone vases, photograph of which we are herewith enclosing you, as we thought you might probably be able to use them in your garden. They measure 50" high, and we would be willing to let them go for $4,000.- the pair, provided that they are moved from here before the 31st of April.

Awaiting the favor of your reply, we are

Yours very truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
