December 7, 1954

Dear Mr. Emerson:

Following your visit on December 2d and as per your desire, I take pleasure in sending you herein photographs of the two French Renaissance statues "Autumn" and "Winter" or "The Good Season" and "The Bad Season," as well as of the painting representing "David Holding the Head of Goliath" attributed to Guido Canlassi (called Cagnacci).

The pamphlet on the two statues contains, as you will notice, but a summary of the data which I have gathered and which is available to you, of course, at your request. As you will recall, the prices are:

Pair of French Renaissance Statues - $65,000
(sixty-five thousand dollars)
Guido Canlassi (called Cagnacci), attributed to,
"David Holding the Head of Goliath - $3,500
(eight thousand five hundred dollars)

With personal regards,

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman
