Marble. Height: 24-1/4" venetian, ca. 1480.

The angel woth a halo and decorated wings, stands in youthful dignity to announce the coming of Christ. He holds his right hand upward and against high right wing, with two fingers raised in salutation. In his left hand he grasps a scroll. His hai rcurls about the delicate face.

The neck and the tips of both wings have been broken.
