Dear Mr. Solomon:

You were so kind as to invite me to call on you next Friday should I be going to Boston, as I thought it would be possible. To my great regret I shall have to postpone this visit, for the tentative appointment I had in Chicago has just been confirmed.

Though at this present moment I do not want to be too positive, I shall try to take up anew my Boston trip next week, in which case, of course, I would communicate with you ahead of time.

With personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
