Mr. Sikorsky - 2 - July 2, 1941.

however, I quit flying and returned to the more peaceful preoccupation of research and teaching in economics and political science in which I had been interested before my venture into aviation.

If Vought is associated with you (as the name of your company suggests it), please convey to him my regards. In 1912 I saw him quite frequently at the Cicero aviation field near Chicago where the planes I was flying were stationed. He was just out of college at the time and was starting his professional aeronautical engineering work. I have never seen him since.

I am staying at my home on Long Island during the summer, but from July 1st until August 8th I will be commuting daily to my office at the University. Will you not give me a ring some morning when you are in New York so that we may perhaps arrange to meet at luncheon together?

Sincerely yours,

Paul Studenski
Professor of Economics
