Dear Mr. Studenski:

I was delighted to receive your letter of August 29th, returning my exhibition sheets, autographed and the several photos.

In the same mail I had a well prepared exhibition sheet from the first American Woman Pilot, Blanche Stuart Scott, as well as a photo taken in 1910. It doesn't seem possible the years have crept on so fast.

It was so thoughtful of you to relate an incident of your early days - I can appreciative the discomfort of the postal clerk.

Exhibition time will soon be here and I must get my material together - and from the responses of the "Early Birds" I assure you it will merit unusual attention.

At this time, I am preparing several exhibitions for the big event. I am a collector of Balloon Letters of the Siege of Paris of 1870-71 and "they say" it will be one of the outstanding collections shown.

When it is over, will return one or all of the photos submitted. I know you are particularly anxious to have me return the "crash item" and the "personal card".

Incidently, when you have an opportunity, stop at the Steinway Building to meet Theodore Steinway, President of the piano company - he is a "prince"...and L. B. Gatchell, an official of the Esso Standard Oil Company, Esso Building, N.Y. They are both interested in aviation and will tell you more about my activities. I am wel acquainted with Erik Hildeshiem - and did you know John Mac Palmer of your period. He also crashed. Lives in Springfield.

More later - and thinks for everything. Be assured of receiving photos of interest of the exhibition...and here are a few photos of men I have met and have important exhibits from them.

Very sincerely yours,
