8 is in excellent condition as regards the preservation of the specimens, and is fairly satisfactory in arrangement. The present arrangement, however, is only temporary and will be revised after the provisional rearrangement has been completed. 9 1/2 cases altogether, including wall cases, are yet to be arranged, and the Curator hopes that he will be able to resume that important part of his work very soon. The number of specimens in the skin collection can be only approximately given, it being impracticable at the present time to make an actual count.
