I have the honor to submit herewith a report on work done during the month of October, 1889, in the Department of Birds:- 

[[underlined]] Accessions. [[/underlined]]

The number of entries made in the museum catalogue of birds during October is 105 (numbers 116870-'974, inclusive), the principal accessions being as follows:-

[[underlined]] Dr. E. Rey, Leeipzig, Germany.[[/underlined]] - Eight specimens, same number of species, from Siberia, etc., all but two new to the collection. (Purchased.)
