In addition to the above-mentioned work, and numerous other matters of which no memorandum was made, an article on the Grouse tribe, consisting of 73 pages, was written for publication by the Museum as an aid to the study of the Exihibition collection.

Mr. Henry Marshall did the following work during December, 4 days of which he was absent on account of illness:-
