That the Rice grower shall be permitted to protect his crop against damage by wild duck.

That in doing so the following manners may be utilized.

1. Shooting by owners of fields, members of their families or persons employed for such service.

2. Shooting must take place in rice fields from the open. No blinds, artificial or natural may be utilized.

3. Shooting may be carried on at night when necessity arises.

4. Birds killed in herding ducks from the rice fields may be utilized as food by the men killing them or may be given to charitable institutions. They may not be otherwise disposed of.

5. Night shooting may not be resorted to on rice stubble fields after the rice crop has been harvested.

6. Rice growers must finish affidavit as to the number of birds killed, their disposal and the am't of ammunition used.

Violation shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $510 for each offense.
