July 24th, 1918.

Dr. Alex. Wetmore,
Assistant Biologist,
Bureau of Biological Survey,
Hotel Colonial Annex,
San Franciso, Calif.

Dear Dr. Wetmore:

We have complied with your request of July 23rd to forward your mail to San Francisco.

We have two small packages for you which will be retained until we hear further from you.

I can assure you that we are only too glad to do anything we can to assist members of the Biological Survey, and beg that you make yourself at home at our office when in Sacramento, and consider it headquarters. Anything that we can do to make your visit to California most pleasant we stand ready to do.

I am sorry it is necessary for me to go to Eureka day after tomorrow but trust that is may be possible to meet you at some other date.

Very truly yours,
STATE COMMISSION OF HORTICULTURE,
