June 26, 1918

Dr. Alex Wetmore,
Gallup, New Mexico

My dear Wetmore,

Most of the specimens mentioned in your letter of June 20 have been received, everything you mention in fact except the bird skins. The specimens have been cared for as you desire and all films sent to Mr. Kent for developing. The insects came through in good shape, and if you continue packing them as these were I think the results will be better on the whole than under the method used in previous years. It is proper to collect plant-lice in alcohol, but the Psyllids had better be sent dry like the other insects.

A roll of cotton has been sent to you at Gallup, and I will put in a request today amending your letter of authority so as to make the amount available under it $320. Such increases are made to date from the day they are requested. I will have to wait a few days before getting out your food habits letter.

With best regards,
Sincerely yours,
