to bring Messrs. Colburn and Nesbit down. They did not suffer much from hunger, having been able to catch enough grouse to keep them pretty well. In a few days after I sent the same men up again to bring down our camp fixtures which they did. I will take this occasion to bring to your favorable notice, and through you the officers of the Co., the many kind favors we have received from Illia on many occasions. We would be almost reduced to the last mouthful, when a present of fish or deer meat would be sent in by him. I personally shal ever feel grateful to him for the many favors received at his hands.

Very Respectfully Submitted.
