He told, father, Two Crow and Hajepa he was going to try and get the Secretary to grant them the privilege of leasing their lands for farming purposes, he gave them the idea they would have houses built, trees set out the land all broken and get money besides. He never told them that he was going to have them made citizens but he told the Whites, and the Whites have the idea if the Indians are made citizens they will all get cheap farms. I think with the help this money will give them it will answer all purposes for the present, if they should get the privilege of renting it would only be to a class of men whom you could not hold responsible
