  My dear Miss Fletcher
      We received your letters yesterday Father has moved over last night I was up there to write for the counsel men each man wanted to say something but I told them they all would say the same thing and they might as well let one say the words and all sign their names to it. They are very much interested in the place of self government and they seem to have a clear idea about it. Father had Mr C. read the letter and Fontevelle interpret it to the counsel men. The best thing that could be done would be to organize as soon
