My Dear Miss Fletcher: -

I must add just a few hurried lines to Mr.Morgan's letter. I was delighted to receive Miss Gay's interesting letter, and have made several attempts to reply, but have been so occupied that I have not succeeded. Please give her my love and tell her I will write after my return.

Mr.Morgan has had a second [[handwritten C in second]] touch of the Gripper and during Me.Belt's absence there were an unusual number of very important matters under consideration in the Office,so that he was seriously overworked. An entire rest seemed desirable, and we very suddenly decided to take it in the form of a sea voyage, hoping to be gone only about five weeks, which I trust will quite set him up again. Mr.Belt has returned, the hard cases are mostly disposed of, so he feel relieved.

I trust you keep well. I was glad to hear particularly of you through Mr.King, who was here for a couple of days. I hope you will have no more such extreme heat. Here the summer has been delightfully cool.

Yours with a great deal of love, and most heartfelt sympathy with your work,
