I have been expecting you and Miss Gay in Mr. Idaho for months and will surely expect to see you ere long if God wills. I send a copy of Extract of Report of the Foreign Board that my dear friend may know that the Board appreciates what she has done for us. I send with my sister some "Myths of the Columbia River Indians" which may interest you. If there is anything I can do, to help or comfort - please tell me dear friend and, if in my power I will do it.
