Dear Miss Fletcher:-

Mr. Andrew Lang has sent to Professor Langley a letter in which he asks information upon the following questions:- First, the idea of an All-governing Creative Spirit among the Indians. Secondly, the soul idea among the Indians as an element in the origin of religions. Thirdly, the existence of clairvoyance, telepathy and hypnotism among the tribes that you have visited.

I saw Doctor Matthews last night and he asked me to consult you about the [[underlined]]Wakanda[[/underlined]] among the Omaha.

Professor Langley will be much please if you can give an early answer to these inquiries.

I am,

Very respectfully yours,

[[signed]] T Mason [[/signed]]
Curator.

Miss Alice C. Fletcher,
