I find our programmes are usually crowded and I try to limit myself to about 20 or 30 minutes.

I have 12 slides now, to exhibit and hope to have one or two more.

Since you ask me for advice about your paper, I offer it, though I believe your own judgement is better than mine. I think it would be well to limit your time to half an hour or less. An hour on this (rather dry) subject will be as much as even our scientific friends will care for and perhaps they would gladly let us off at less. Then I suppose we will have to read our papers at night and many in our audience may not be scientific. You might treat chiefly of mode of construction and appearance and if you have time for a brief paragraph on distribution and for another on ceremony you might put them in for spice.
