My dear Miss Fletcher:-

Your letter followed me to this little nook in the White Mountains where we are spending an idyllic month. I was very glad to hear from you for I had feared that you had become worried with my demands upon your time and attention.

Thank you very much for sending me Professor Fillmore's last paper. I shall appreciate it very highly.
