Welcome home! I suppose you know that the English name, Fletcher, arose from that of the Swiss noble Flechere, a follower of Peter of Savoy, who about the middle of the 13th century built Chillon. Peter served Henry III of England, and gave the name to the Savoy palace in the Strand. Grandson Flechere & De la Porte, nobles in his train, married Englishwomen,
