My dear Friend, I have answered your question, after seeing the old man and mailed it this day, I am sorry to inform you that my wife is very low. I have had to work and set up with her cook and keep house for it is very hard to get a good nurse = Peter is a great brother for when I start for work he follows me to town. Mr. Shapard is very kind for he will let me go when the time comes; but as my wife is very sick I do not see how I can come- Old man is very anxious to come He was very sick and nearly died- The other day Skee dees had Doctor dance and the old man danced his Buffalo Dance when one young man entered the lodge blessed the old man then presented him [[strikethrough]] with [[/strikethrough]] a Beef so
