Here they pause - then taking 4 steps as you gave it. I have mark the places by number as it should be and erased your numbers= I hope this is plain.

The first singing is about Tirawa who gave His consent to the 4 Gods to make the world and the people. So really the [[good?]] singing is of more importance for here they sing to the Gods in the West reminding them of the steps they took in creating the world and people. The ring is not a cross neither is it a ring - steps are taken in so many way to make [[strikethrough]] if [/strike-through]] as near as they can the image of a man facing west looking toward the place where the Gods dwell who created & made the world - it represents five points. Really image of Tirawa = and in going around they believe the image goes with them until the feet points East ready to start with them-  Tell me if this is plain.
