My dear [[?Mr]] [[?M]]
I am anxious about you for fear you are sick as I have not heard from you for a long time & have yet no reply to my letter written you within the past fortnight. Enclosing a list of questions. I sincerely hope you and our old friend are well, and that nothing will prevent us meeting this Fall.

I wrote you I would mail you the copy of Mr [[?La Flesche's]] book which he presents to you. I could not do so as I had no good strong paper to tie it up in. The book will be mailed this afternoon - I know you will enjoy it very much.
