and an additional 5 acres every year -

First year 1876. had ^[[one pr.]] oxen from the Agent - for one week with a plough. that is the rule which was then in operation & continuous to the present time.

His wife drove the oxen - 
First year put in wheat - 10 bushels -
Rec'd seed from the Agents.
Good seed. Realized 125 bushels.
25 bushel to the acre -
Cut by a reaper. rec'd from Agent
Hired horses from [[strikethrough]]the [[/strikethrough]] a Winnebago
to drive the machine paid him 
3 sacks - equal to 6 bushels of 
Wheat - valued at a $1 per bush.
