made relates to the treaty of March 6, 1865. (14 Stat. 667), which should be taken as a guide in determining as to who are entitled to allotments.

The treaty provides that lands in severalty shall be assigned "to members of the tribe, including their half or mixed blood relatives [[underlined]] now residing with them." [[/underlined]]

I find in the files of this Office, a schedule, duly certified by the Chiefs of the Omaha tribe, showing the names of those who were properly entitled to selections of land in severalty under the treaty aforesaid, and a description of their respective selections.  Said schedule was duly certified
