Sir:-

Your letter of July 30 marked L. [[?1366]] in reference to the claim of Celestia Kuhn to an allotment of land in the Omaha Reserve, and made since copy of her letter to Judge [[?Dunoly]], of [[?]] Neb. [[?naming]] his influence with the Department in her behalf, is received.

The facts of the case are as follows.

Celestia Kuhn is one of the seven living children of Antoine Barada, an Omaha half breed.

She was born of a white mother (French) in St. Louis and has lived all her life away from the Omaha
