Sir:-

I am in receipt of your letter dated Feb. 6. 1884, marked "L. 22223-1883." with 8 inclosures relating to the case of Mrs. Euphrasia Peters who claims by virtue of relationship to the Omahas to be entitled to allotment of land on the Omaha reservation for herself and her children under the provisions of the act of August 7, 1882, and requesting that the whole matter be laid before the tribe for final determination and to report the decision and facts together with any overviews thereon.

The enclosures are as follows:-
