              June 2nd: 1884

I hereby agree to break upon the land allotted to John Webster twenty-two(22) acres: and upon the
land allotted to Wa-jae-pa, twenty-two (22) acres; and upon the land allotted to John Big Elk, twenty-two (22) acres; between the present date and July 12, 1884, and to receive Fifty ($50.00) dollars payment for each breaking of twenty-two (22) acres, amounting in all to One hundred fifty and 00/" ($150.00) dollars ^[[insert]] Fifty (50.00) dollars [[/insert]] to be paid at the completion of each breaking ^ [[insert]] of twenty-two (22) acres [[/insert]] and measurement of the same by a competent person, to be selected by the Indians, by check, drawn by A.C. Fletcher left with Mr. John Copley Omaha Mission, upon presentation of a signed statement, by the person selected to measure the land, that the breaking has been completed according
to agreement.
