Sir: 

I have the pleasure of acknowledging your communications of Sept. 9 [[underline]] th [[/underline]] one marked L. 22668. 1887. and the other L. also the tracings of that [[postsers?]] of [[Inonshifas?]] 2 G Ranges 8 and 9 purchased from the Cruchas for the Winnebagos of Wisconsin.

There is a small strife of about half a [[rule guide?]] and two miles from it. and South. contained in Sections 24 and 25 in township 26 - Range 7, which is missing from the flats just received being a focus of the peer chase for the Wisonsin Winnebago. When the plan of this strife is received I shall then have the flats of the [[Wtie?]] reservation ready for work. Will you kindly have this missing [[portion?]] forwarded as soon as possible.
