These 70 patents which have been lost or destroyed need to be canceled, as the land covered by them is all claimed by living Indians, and a considerable portion has been occupied and cultivated by men, who have for years, lived on the land and who are not allotted on these tracts.

Certificates for the 955 allottments have been made out and alarge part of them ha^[[d]] been personally delivered before I left the Reservation, the remainder have been sent to individual allottees, or to the Agent for distribution.
