I certify on honor that Conley Spencer and Sam Morris served as chain man and axe man respectively on the 1st day of May and that I made a clerical error in writing May 2, when I should have written May 1st. The surveyor, the other chain man, Silas Corbett, and the other Axe man, Joe R. Benton, worked, and Conley Spencer & Sam Morris were needed to complete the field force, for work on May 1st.
