Fair Orchard. Congresbury Somerset England
Sunday August 14, 1910

My dear Francis

Your letter of Aug 4. has this moment reached me. I don't understand how it
came so quickly from Nebraska when it took ten days from Washington to here.

I hope your papers will be prove to be correct so that there will be no delay, and that you can go direct to the Osage & not have to return to Washington, particularly as I could not be there to see you. I am much interested in the change from a Pow wow to a County fair. I think it will be better every way, for at the fair there will be exhibitions of produce from the farm & the [[margin notes]] two sisters, & remember me cordially to all the people.
Write me often. I feel so far away.
Ever affly M.
