August is the holiday month, the trains are crowded so that any one who can do so stays at home.  I write you of my visit to Glastonbury & Wells.  I've been no where since.  Next I think I am to go to see the cliffs at Chedder, and the sea resorts at Weston both quite near here.
Next week I go to visit [[strikethrough]] Mrs [[/strikethrough]] Dr. Sturge's brother William, [[insert]] near Cambridge [[/insert]] who is quite a learned man & much interested in Archeology.  I stay there 3 days with Prof & Mrs Myers.  Then to the British Ass. at Sheffield- After that I shall return here to get clean clothes & then go to visit Mr. Sidney Hartland at Gloucester, then back here, then to visit Miss M. [[Carta?]]Sturge not far from Winchester, then to London and after that to the Continent.
