Mrs Parsons gives a lunch party today. Mrs Cushing has gone over to help dress the table etc. I have loaned dishes & silver and will send over my second girl, "Jenny" to assist in waiting, opening the front door, etc.

The party is as follows:
Mrs McCurdy, Mrs Moffett, Mrs Washington, Minnie French, Bertha Schott, Mrs Cushing Mrs Parsons, Mrs Barry & Miss [[F?]], & myself. Alice does not appear but attends to matters in the kitchen seeing they are served right.

I rather looked for a letter today. I send by this mail some of the Osage material cut out of the book which may be of use - or least may suggest something for you to find out about.

Mr. Gurley has just been here going over some galleys, shifting paragraphs etc, he is very courteous and kind about it all.

Goodbye.
