My dear Francis

Your letter of the 17th has just come. Surely you are doing finely - and it is of great interest all you are getting. I am sure you will get to the bottom of many matters. Your securing the tattooing outfit is fine. I shall certainly do my best to see it when you send it in, but perhaps you will bring it in and then you & I can go thru it together with your notes on the ceremonial use of the materials.
 
By the way, you forgot to enclose the notes I took & which I was to write out for you. Don't fail to send them.

You speak of there being two outfits for tattooing among the Omaha. It is a pity we did not gather so we could put them in the book. I am deeply interested for the Omaha ceremony being connected with the Hunhe noche & the
