thing. I want so much to hear the Songs, the translations, the music can come later, and the translation of the spoken part. It is all strange to me and as yet I don't quite see thro. it. Still I do not yet know all that you have, and so I cannot judge.

As soon as I get the papers pertaining to the work of the Institute in order and ready to turn over to my successor, it is a long hard job, for I cannot keep the history intact because of my own part of it, so that I may not be misjudged. As soon as this is done, I shall begin on copying your letters & clarifying all the material they contain so that it will be ready to take up & study when you are writing out the book in "The Osage Tribe", if you decide on that title.
