I should [[insert]] be tempted strongly to[[/insert]] go down at once but for one thing. Last December at the first meeting of the Literary Society I was asked if I would not take one meeting this season. it is some four years since I entertained the Society. I said I would, if it was really needed, & Mrs Davis later said it was needed, so I took a meeting in March, & the Society comes here on the 25th  If it were not for this I think I should start next week for Oklahoma for I want very much to see you. I want to be sure you are comfortable and I know it would give you pleasure to see me. I'd like to see the Death dance, too if I could with you.
