Sunday evening 10:30 P.M. Apr 23 —

My dear Francis  I have worked all day & all the evening and I am not yet thro. I must go out & mail this or you will be so long without a word from home. I hope I shall hear from you tomorrow.

Mr. Gurley sends for the [[underlined]] ms [[/underlined]] tomorrow morning  I must work tonight until it is finished.

I inclose a letter that came yesterday  Is it not rather presuming to use our names with out "by your leave"
