Mr. Cadman wrote me before he left a very pleasant letter. I want to write him & explain to him some of his difficulties, but he has given me no address. I will write to the Sanitarium Albuquerque, but I may not catch him. I cannot do it today. I am too tired.

The check for $60 has come I will deposit it tomorrow if I can get down to the Bank, & ask for your balance. I have deposited the Homestake $65. to your credit.

I am glad you have your good suit of clothes for you have evidently been where you needed them. I am glad you have made addresses, and have had these social experiences. They are pleasant for you and they are helpful too. Mr. Cadman mentions them and says that you are much appreciated, which gives me great pleasure. I wish very much I could hear the Opera as it now stands. I recognize the truth of what you say that Mr. Cadman has come to the place where he will be thrown on his own resources, and that the work will be all the harder. I do hope he will succeed. He will have to pass quite an ordeal before he can really win a high place. The material which has gone into this opera is so good that I do not want it
