The garden is lovely. The Wisteria is in blossom, and it is a delight.

The Fitz-Patricks have bought the Shott's home. They are changing things have cut a new window on the side & are going to put in hot water heat & another bathroom one on the 3d floor. They are painting the front, & my front is so dirty & streaked that I had Mr. Mcnickle here this A.M to make an estimate for I shall have to paint our house, at least the front. I shall have to paint up about the chimney on the side, & I may have to paint that too. I will see what I can do.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick whom I called on last evening asked after you & so did Mrs Bodfish. I tried to see Miss Westcott but
