sides & near friends. It was a warm day. At 12 m. I had Mr. & Mrs Parsons Alice & Fleet, Mr James the father & the two Miss Kimballs, Alices cousin & Mr Hall also a cousin to luncheon. Mr Parsons dressed for the wedding in your room. He had left his home & was staying at the club, as the house was full of company. Fleet came a little later & also dressed in your room for his wedding. Mrs Cushing went over about 2.30 P.M to help put on Alice's veil. I did not go over until 2.45 I had been there all the morning helping. The ceremony was very pretty, & simple. We all left about 4 P.M. & later Alice & Fleet went off in Dr. Jack's auto to the station. They went directly to their place in the country "Grassmere" reaching there about 11 P.M.

My dear Francis I cannot write I am simply bathed in perspiration rolling down my cheeks. Mrs Cushing is playing Canfield at Mr P's & I am alone.
