now making a fight on capitalism and that means no campaign funds for them if they persist and the reelection of Taft, sure. It is to be hoped they will keep up the fight on that line. T.R. absolutely failed to stampede the convention as he expected to and now he has brought himself down to nobody politically, which is a good thing as he surely is a dangerous man, and I think the people know it. 

I have not heard yet of the allowance for my work from Mr. Hodge so I think like all the other appropriations that [[insert]] of the Bureau [[/insert]] also has been neglected by Congress.

On the fourth I am invited out to Fred Lookout's and I will take out the Osage roll that I have copied out and will get the meanings of them. The visit will have of work as well as pleasure.

So far the weather is bearable and I hope it will be so through the summer.

Do I understand from Mr. Hodge's letter that the School of Am. Arch. has gone under?
