Yesterday your two letters came, one dated July 13, and the other 15". All that you tell me about your experiences there is very interesting but must be inconvenient and at times embarrassing. But you are comfortable as far as the weather is concerned and that is a good deal. For that I am very glad because the weather here has been simply awful. The nights are cooler now and that is one great comfort. You will soon have my letter telling you of my being sick for a while. But that little while was like being in fire. Fever up to 104! For the last two days I noticed that my ankles were both badly swollen, and I have been wondering if the medicines I have been taking had anything to do
