dinner were given but I shall not be able to accept. It was pleasant all around.

From Pratt's place I shall go in to Hominy, get my grip and then go on to Fairfax. I expect to meet the man with whom I am to stay, at Pratt's. He has an auto, and will take me along with him on his return home. If he happens not to be there, I shall stay over at Hominy and drive over the next day. I hope I shall be able to go through today as it may not be so pleasant tomorrow.

I wish you would take a ride with Peck once in a while when it is pleasant. I am troubled about your being in the house all the time. I am glad you are getting better. I shall do my best to get through at Fairfax soon so that I can come home. I may have some opposition but I think with the aid of Bill Fletcher I can make it.

Now I must close and get ready for the journey. Thank you for the clippings I read some of them to Wa-xthi-zhi and his friends.

Love to the Parsons.
